Diesel For Sale

Thu Oct 13, 2005 2:07 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

After much deliberation for over a month now, I've come to the decision to part with my RVF.

It's the bike that can be viewed at http://www.scbc.co.uk/members-special.htm which also includes most of its spec list.

It cost me £3,500 from a dealers in January and I've spent a lot more since, both in time and money, getting it to the spec shown. I'm not the boasting type, but I'm yet to see a better example of an RVF400 on the road - especially judging by the crowds it seems to attract at bike meets.

Rigorously serviced with some history, including pricey top end service 5,000miles ago. MOT, Tax, Manual, some service history and paddock stand included. Everything on the bike is in exceptional condition and working order - this is far from a standard 'clean' bike.

I'm in no immediate rush to sell, but would welcome any sensible offer to take the bike off my hands.

Please PM me, or email me at whers84@hotmail.com if you're interested.

Based in Sussex.

Stunning!......Thats a real clean NC35 you've got there, and if it looks anywhere near like that in the flesh (which I'm sure it does) then I'd have to agree it's the nicest I've seen!

Thanks Mr. T, it's going to be difficult to let the bike go after all the work I've done to it; but I fear I need a new project to work on/restore/maintain.

Nope, was thinking about it - but I couldn't bring myself to trying to explain my decision to sell it on 400gb (I'm known quite well there; they'ld all think I was mad for even thinking about parting with it).

If you had a bike & needed to sell it, you wouldn't care what people thought, as long as you got a sale surely?

Anyway, enough thread flaming...

Now SOLD! My God, what have I done......?

Only joking, got a bit of money to play with now (or atleast a healthy deposit, rest of cash to follow next week).

(Sorry for anyone who was bidding on Ebay, but I did include that if I was to get a good offer, I'd reserve the right to sell privately before the end of the auction)
