I'm selling my '94 MC28 SE for $6500. I'm in Norcal
Here is some info:
- '94 MC28 SE
- registered in CA until Dec (bike is registered as a 82 honda)
- roughly 5200 miles (switched over to the HRC card at 7200km)
- HRC 030 card
- drilled airbox (and I believed it was rejetted)
- 450miles on new rings
- 600rr calipers, SS brake lines, EBC HH pads, Galfer DOT4 fluid (350
miles since install)
- aftermarket rearsets (dont know brand)
- changed all fluids 4 months ago (Motul gear oil, Motul 600 2T oil, water wetter in rad.)
- Specialized bicycle speedo
- Racetech fork springs (not installed, .80 kg/mm)
- new Michelin Pilot race tires
bads:
- 2 cracks on the left side of the tail
- normal wear and scuff on lowers
- upper fairing has scuffs at the corner
- mirrors are a bit scuffed
Thats about all I can think of at the moment. The bike hasnt touched the ground since it came to the US. I believe the scuffs on the mirrors and cracks on the tail came from transporting the bike here. The bike has probably seen at most 3000 miles in the 5+ years its been here. I'm the second owner in the US (bought it from a friend's friend)
Yeah I' like to know! My buddy just sold his titled CBR250RR for $8750.00 USD! CASH! We gotta get at least that for cherry NSRs right???
Pete...the good ol HT days. I need to go back on that site and get my CRX running again..lol _________________ MC21 300R w/SE bits, Rossi 2001

Its going to depend on the exact model and condition. A mint condition '99 MC28 Respol will probably bring close to $10K. A run down '90 MC21 about $4k. There has been a '93 MC21 on cycle trade for months now. The seller asking $6.5K. I think the bike is worth more like $4,500-$5,000. _________________ james

I've seen that bike on some of the other forums for a while. I can't believe you haven't sold it. If I was in the bay area I would seriously consider it. _________________ james

Adding a grand in shipping costs means its no longer a good deal. Now, maybe if the seller wants to cover the shipping costs we can do something. _________________ james

MC28SE Silhouette Repsol
$7k would be pushing it for and older SE. An SP maybe. The paint scheme is not very desirable. I would much rather have a Repsol or Rothmans, or any other paint scheme for that matter. I learned the hard way that its just easier to buy exactly what you want rather than try to fix it up. If I was there (bay area) I'd try to talk it down to $6k which is all its really worth to me right now. But that's not to say its not worth $6,500.The true test would be just to put it on ebay at no reserve and see what its really worth. If an NC30 can bring $9,300 and a MC28 Repsol $9,800, this bike should do OK. Sellers that are willing to put thier item up on ebay at no reserve are seen as sellers that are more interested in selling than sqweezing out every last dollar. I think buyers see this as a good thing and items that sell without reserve often sell for much more than if they had a reserve. But of course it is a risk for the seller. _________________ james

its because I keep changing my mind. I'm pretty sure I want to sell it now since I just picked up a '02 M3 and could use the extra cash. But if I cant sell it, I'll just keep it and do some trackdays _________________ 1994 NSR250SE
