project 500

the time has come to take some stick Laughing am just starting on my project 500 nsr using a rd500 motor (not that there will be much of the rd left) am getting the top crankcase recast to take nsr/rs barrels and pistons and one off conrods. so what i need to know is did the nsr 500 v4 use one or two pgm 3,s?

I think HRC are a little more advanced than that!

NSR500V used a version of the PGM-III, I think I sleep safe tonight knowing the 500V4 didn't use 2!

Confused I dont know much so enlighten me but why do you need to use the Honda PGM when the motor will be a Yamaha motor with NSR barrels, the crank timing will be different?? Dont you need to use the Yamaha ignition system but even than I cant see that will work as the port timing will be different for the NSR barrels so surly you need to build a one off ingition/PGM system Confused

I do understand it's a NSR500V Rolling Eyes , but where did you get the picture from? Who or which internet page?

Besides, with my V2 1000CC, a meant a custom built crankcase using two counter-rotating CR500 cranks and two CR500 Barrels converted to crankcase-inlet...
