I want to put a set of dymags onto a MC28. Now i think the rear hub is the same as an nc30/nc35, but im also told you can fit RS250 wheels to them as well.
The problem is, an RS250 wheel wont fit an NC30 because the 30 uses a flat washer under the wheel nut and has 4 drive pins and 4 bolts behind the wheel where on the RS250 it has the same 4 drive pins but no bolts. This means the RS rear wheel wouldnt sit as designed (as there is no room for the bolt heads). Also the RS250 uses a coned spacer to centralise (spelling) the rear wheel.
Anyone had any experance of any of this?

I've never heard that the RS wheel will go on an NSR - and I've been around enough of both at the track.
And since the NSR and NC have the same rear, I'll assume the RS won't fit that either. _________________ MC21SP Plaything

Maybe it's like the VFR750 and can be machined to fit... _________________ MC21SP Plaything

Somebody (maybe Matt from Tyga, can't remember) said that some RS wheels can be made to fit. Choose the narrower of the RS sizes, and it has to run in reverse, also you will have to keep the chain near the middle of it's adjuctment, and you *may* have to file off a little from the rear caliper. Not sure if memory serves correctly ... I never got around to doing it.

I had a 2000 RS250 with Marchesini rims, and tried to fit the rear onto my MC28. You would have to either use some type of flush-mount brake-disk bolts or make cutouts in the RS wheel to get it to sit all the way on. Yes, the centering cones are different also. I believe the MC28 cone will still work just fine, though. Everything else seems to line up, but also the chain will sit *very* close to the wider rear tire.
