ok, i also heard that a 120/60/17 would be better then a 120/70/17 for the NSR with RS250 front end is this true? while rear remain stock nsr with a 150/60/17. power races come in this size. thanks.
Personaly I like a 120/60 over a 120/70 but then again I think that more down to what I'm used too. _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
120/60 is much closer in profile to a 110/70 than a 120/70 will ever be, and we all know how well the stock sizes work. _________________ Andy.

Gpr70 are now discontinued. Only the a10 (alpha 10) available now unless you can find old stock. I am on 70's and looking forward to trying the 10's. The 70's are quite a heavy tyre by modern standards so the 10's address this + use more modern construction/materials. _________________ http://www.rgv250.co.uk http://www.thetuningworks.com
Had a good look at some of the new Alpha 10s today. They certainly look and feel the part. Always preferred Bridgstone BT090s over the Dunlops, but I think I'll give them a go this summer.
I ran 28 psi front 30 rear on an MC21 with std wheels. Most would run 30/32 to start
You will need to drop them a lot from the standard road pressures to get the tyres to work.
GPR's were great and seemed to last quite well.
- 10 year old Japanese Bridgestones were 'interesting' at a cold wet Oulton Park. I got down to 25/27 which was better if a tad squirrely, but still not getting hot enough. (I weighed only 8 and a half stone at the time - better now).
I'm runing Michelin power race 120/60 160/60 on the NSR can't quite scrub them to the edges. I think because of the standard size rims. _________________ 1995 A kit TZ 250
