guys,my 18 wont go into neutral with the engine running but it would go into neutral with the engine off. how the i fix this. already changed the gear oil. clutch cable seems ok.
It probably isn't though. It sounds like clutch drag. Even if the cable appears OK, if it is worn and stretched, you may not be getting full movement.
It could be worn selector forks, but although they have been known to wear, it's not that common that they will cause neutral selection failure. _________________ Andy.

Is it correctly adjusted though? I have had bike that had difficulty due with gear selection due to the clutch not being fully actuated when the lever is fully pulled in!
