well just went out to have a little shake down of all the work i have done since getting the bike back out from the corner of the garage.
and although there was sum clutch slip i am fairly pleased with it.
just need to get the clutch gripping properly 1st
i would imagine its been on its way out for some time and where i have just liberated a load more pony's threw it it is just saying no thanks ?
will have a look tomorrow thought and make sure all is in order.
quick question though what are the options for replacement clutch? is it the usual suspects
o well cant wait to feel what its like when that's done. it really wanted to rev its had off.
EBC do list the NSR complete clutch, not sure if that's just the wet clutch though. If yours is a dry clutch you may be able to clean up the plates if its not worn out.
think i will pull it apart later and give all the plates a quick sand and maybe stack a couple of washers under the springs before i buy new (I'm fed up with spending on it at the mo)
no i dint plug the PJ's in the end. i feel that all the jets i got with my kit are to big. but i may try again when i order some in-between ones.
so at the moment it is on 150 main, standard everything else apart from the tubes the mains sit in. and the B type HRC needles.
now i am not endorsing this setting to anyone else and i know i still have lots more testing to do
but it is working for me at the moment.
