I just read this the other day, but can't remember which thread.
Recall its barrel H = R model, barrel L = SE / SP model. _________________ Rich

Yep, it was the ebay one. It has magteks, a heap of gearbox spares etc. The frame # fits with the range specified on the NSR World parts page etc.
Similar to the other thread about the Rothmans SP, there are a number of inconsistencies with the fairing panels/stickers. Nothing that can't be fixed & returned to original spec. And it already has Tyga pipes, which were going to be the first item on my shopping list anyway.
As I mentioned in my other thread, I plan on saving all the original gear, putting on some aftermarket bodywork, some trick bits, and some tuned motor bits. But nothing that can't be returned to original some time in the furure.
Now I just need to put the NS400 back together and sell it to finance this little exercise.........
There is no easy way to tell if an NSR was R, SE, or SP that I know of, though obviously if parts are missing (dry clutch, fancy suspension, Magteks) it casts doubt on the fact. Then again, I have two pairs of Magteks and no genuine SP so that's 2 bikes that are either scrap or have no Magteks. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
