Just wondering if it's possible to decoke end cans or strip them down?

Technically they are sealed, but they can be disassembled. The end of each can is "rolled" over so needs to be cut, or better still, machined off and then you can extract all the gubbins.

The baffle may need shortening very slighly for reassembly, and the tip can just be riveted back in place like a race can.

Personally I would get a length of straight-through baffle tube and make them "race" type silencers if I was going to those kind of lengths. Packing material can be souced from any good bike shop that does MX parts.

I was wondering if you could cut away the front of the silencer, so a spacer could be put in where the gasket fits?
Then they could be cleaned anytime and it would look the same from the outside Wink
