I have a CBR1000RR radial on mine now. Considerably cheaper than a Brembo, and fantastic feel. (I don't really know why Racer38 didn't use it himself to be honest!)
Of course, Brembo has the trick name, and it does look a serious quality bit of kit. _________________ Andy.

I think I need one for my MC-18 I tried to bleed it the other day and now it's softer. I E-mailed Redline no answer back yet. I could just replace it but I was thinking might as well upgrade and Brembo will get me those extra poser points .
E-bay has a ton of fake Brembo's not sure I want to trust my life to one of those. _________________
I've not personally got my hands on one of those eBay ones yet, but I'm getting a couple sent over from Thailand soon to (a) use on a display, and (b) have one tested to destruction on a pressure rig. Not so I can be happy that they are good to use, but just to see what happens when they are put under pressure.
Even if it stands up to a high pressure test, I wouldn't personally be happy to trust quality control consistency, on the road or track. _________________ Andy.

I had chance to look at one of the fakes and with a small alteration, I think they would be pretty close to original.
I think the danger is when people buy them off ebay and don't realise they are fake.
I was shown some callipers in my local shop and could only tell the difference by the price sticker - one was 15 times the other.
I do have an un-trained eye though. _________________ mc18 F3, mc21 300, mc21ish sp, mc21/28ish.

Andy what size is the CBR1000 Master Cylinder...? Is it 18...? I am thinking to install also my self a MC and i don't know what size will work better with the MC21 calipers... I will be using an RS250 front end to my MC28 and as far i know the MC21 calipers are straight bolt on...
Fine question Michael, and one I have absolutely no idea as to the answer to! It works fine though, and "feels" better than the standard NSR one. Whether it's any more efficient than the NSR one, I don't know, but it certainly feels nicer to operate.
My NSR has always stopped faster than me anyway, and even more so with the HRC calipers and discs! It was more of a tart part than anything else to be honest! _________________ Andy.

if you say so Andy i believe you and that's enough for me... If the feeling also is improved this is just perfect... And with less money than a Brembo...!!!
I have to admit, I didn't think I'd personally be able to feel the difference, but the lever not only fits the shape of my hand better, but the operation feels nicer too.
Like I say, it's a bit more difficult for me to tell if the efficiency is any better, as I run HRC calipers, HRC cast iron discs, and stainless steel brake lines, so the braking wasn't exactly rubbish before! _________________ Andy.
