HRC Head Conversion Spark Plug

Tue Aug 04, 2009 9:25 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi guys...

i was looking what spark plug i have to use in order to have enough clearance between the spark plug cap and the front wheel and i found the NGK R7282... The good thing about this type is that is produced in many heat grades 7-8-9-10-10.5 and 11...

http://www.ngk-sparkplugs.jp/english/raceinfo/sparkplug/02/index.html

The question...: Is this type R7282 suitable for my MC28...?

This type of spark plug uses the NGK TRS1225 cap... But i can't find it in Greece... Do you guys have access to this type of cap...? Is there any internet shop that sells this type of cap...?

http://www.ngk-sparkplugs.jp/english/raceinfo/sparkplug/03/index.html

Thanks
Michael

Suitable but very expensive...
Try the NGK R5300A range of plugs. Also a shorty type plug, as good as the 7282's, but cheaper. I think the 7282's are set up for det counters, (don't quote me on that)...
I have used R5300A-105's.

Thanks Kieran,

But what type of cap must be used along with the R6252E-105 spark plug...? Is this also a short type of spark plug...?
