MC21 front brake line length

Fri May 14, 2010 5:50 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi guys, tried searching but nothing would come up.
I'm going to get some Hel brake lines made up as the guys I'm using don't have the pre made kits. So I need to know what the length of the two lines would be. I roughly measured around 700mm, does that sound right? Or is that a bit long?

Cheers
Blair

Cheers, but I'm getting a pretty good deal through these guys here in NZ.
Could you perhaps measure them for me? As the front end I have didn't come with them as the previous owner kept them for his new front end.
Cheers.

just measured up an old set and here's what i've got:
Taking a centre line down the hose from the centre of
each banjo 585mm and 615mm.
done the same but to a centre line running through the
90degree angles bottom arm 560mm and 590mm.
My braided hoses are between 50 and 100mm longer,
hope this helps

Wicked! Thanks for that. I though 700mm was close. I'll be getting them made up this week. I think I'll go red with stainless banjos.

Thanks again.
