MC28 Race seat

Wed Jun 16, 2010 1:32 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

I am fitting an MC28 tail to my bike and so far so good but I need a seat
I have seen foam pads on race bikes but are these custom made or can these be bought somewhere
my thoughts so far are to get a peice of perspex and trim to size and heat and mould over the seat area and then glue some HD closed cell foam to it so the perspex will take the weight and be able to screw to the frame. also this bike will be a road bike so will 15mm closed cell HD foam be ok or should i use thicker foam and cover in vynal to weather proof it better?
I could just find an MC28 seat but i will be making more of these tails to fit other models so if i can make something i can send it overseas to be replicated

Posted from the same IP address as "brendonraymond". I suspect an alias.

If this thread, or any other, is deemed to become commercial I will have no hesitation but to ban the user and IP address(es) posting.

Could be Optus using a pool address for their private network. I work as a managed network engineer and this is standard practice for most ISP's where dynamic IP addresses are used.

ebv8 if your are being honest and genuine then perhaps ask your ISP for a public IP and you will get no further issues. Alternatively if you have a "re-used" fixed IP then ask for a new one Wink

This is why I didn't delete or lock the thread... for now. If it is genuine then all's well.

Posts from this IP address will be closely monitored however.
