I picked up a cheap MC21 last year (£450) with no PGM, Rad and a seized big end journal. I've spent a fair bit of time, effort and money rebuilding it and now I'm trying to register it as it's never been on the road. It came with the import document and I thought that's all I'd need but now I've been told I need some customs/excise certificate or I cant register it!?!?!

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Kinda starting to loose the plot a little bit after all the effort that's went in.

Any help would be appreciated!

if it all goes tits up buy a cheap frame thats v5 registered.

Never thought of that, good idea. I've had alot more help here than the DVLA were ever going to give me. Thanks to the folks who PM'd me. I've got a couple of leads to follow up now, I'll let you know how I get on.
