Dimension wise the shock is a bit longer and I think the spring rate is a bit higher. The reservoir hose fitting coming off the shock body fouls against the frame bracing.

You re right it seems that i must find one which the reservoir hose fitting coming off the shock body exits like the stock sp ones...

Well if we had lots of money to spend then it would be really fun!

I compared some pictures and it seems that f3 and f4 cbr shocks are the same in terms of hose exit!

F3 the length C = 290mm the bottom shock mount is the same as nsr's but the top mount needs about 2mm removing from the width. I just took one out of my mc18 and replaced it with the standard one. Found it too stiff, couldnt get any static sag! Was going to put the nsr spring in the cbr body, but no bike shops where i live in the sticks had a proper spring compressor! Very Happy

Thanks! that means that the f3 youve got doesnt fit to the mc21/28 due to short length...
I believe the cbr 900rr is the best bet cause it has same lenght (at ohlins catalogue).
unfortunately the ohlins catalogue doesnt have any specs for the f3-f4 cbr's so we must find by asking...
