They offer a cleaner/sharper spark than the BR9ECM plugs, if my bench test is anything to go by.
But, if my bench test is anything to go by then you all really need to be running RS coils too. Stock coil and plug was like a birthday cake candle, whereas the RS coil and plug combination was like a lighthouse.

The CDI doesn't care what you do with the signal it provides,
you will have no issues with your PGM unit running rs plugs, coils etc. _________________ 2t-racelab.com
The rs plugs should resist missfires as the fine tip electrode concentrates the spark beter . I have converted to rs coils , wiring , flywheel etc . Dyno on the weekend !

It works, my bike runs and doesn't misfire ever. If you can muster the muscles to turn the rear wheel with it in gear it fires up on the paddock stand. Unlike my other bike if you try to start it by standing behind it and pulling a spoke round you'll lift it off the stand!
It's on a RS PGM, cut down mc18 loom, normal NSR charge circuit, reg-rec and battery, NSR coils, NGK TRS1408F shorty plug caps, NGK R5300A-95 plugs which are the 9.5 version of the R5300A-10 stock NF5 RS plug. 50/50 Avgas/unleaded
The 10's will work on the road (as will the 10.5's) but they'll foul easily and they'll never get hot enough to burn the insulator clean enough to get a good reading from a plug chop.
I've seen a few R5300-9 plugs, they're the ones you really want on a roadbike.
If you can find them the 9's and the 9.5s tend to be cheaper as well as the better choice for anything less than a GP bike. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread

silikesguiness your bike is perpetually in bits, isn't it?
I don't think we're going to get an answer to this, as I've searched the forums and there are two other threads dealing with this. A couple of people did the mod, and were going to post as soon as they'd put it back together. Guess what never happened?
