i have a mc18 mk1 i wonder about fixing pgm 2 wiring in to it ? is it possibly to do ,i have the main loom and pgm 2 unit ? what would i gain from it

Little difference, if any.

The main change between the PGM-I and PGM-II was the integration of the RC Valve control into the PGM. Some may argue that integration of the two systems was actually a mistake, as if you overload an MC16 or MC18 Mk1 servo it only burns out the (easily replaced) controller and not the ECU like on the later models.

Why would you want to put a PGMII on a 2J?

Won't that make it harder to derestrict?
