gutted locked the front and down i went , happen so fast didnt even have time to think about plan B lol

theres only 2 panels not damaged front mudguard and L/H side panel

gutted as this is after steve rebuilt the engine and the bike rode better than any 250 2t should , still theres no engine damage or frame , swingarm scatched but its hidden by the pipe (which is now scrap)

as for me well i was doing about 60 when the bike decided to kick me off , spent 3 hours in hospital and they gave me some stong pain killers had X rays nothing broke , but i can honestly say thats the last time i go out without leathers gravel rash is very painful Sad

Gutted Jay,

Does mean you have to borrow the F3 again!

I'm sure some of those pannels can still be got new. The tank is a bit of a kicker.

Still at least you proved the air brake system works by the looks of it!

The main thing is you're OK!

At least everything is fixable!

That's a real bummer Jay, but as Andy says at least you are OK. The bike can be fixed up.
I think I have an MC21 OE chamber, which you can have FOC, I' won't be needing it.
If it's any consolation, how my Cadalora NX5 tank started out (when I stripped off the paint and pulled out all the filler) makes your tank looks like a few minor scratches!

cheers lads , ya the bike can be fixed ,its a shame tho as it was such a clean one

ive got alot of gravel rash and im in alot of pain , got to go to the heath centre tomorrow to have all the dressings changed and for them to check on the big hole in my elbow , but ill be back to full fitness soon Very Happy

these NSRs are addictive , i was in alot of pain saturday night and could not sleep , girlfriend woke up and said what are you doing , i was on the net on my phone looking for replacment parts at about 4 in the morning

her words , will you forget about that stupid fooking bike lol

in truth i was very lucky as i ended up sliding down the road on the otherside into oncoming traffic , lucky for me the car heading towards me went on the pavement to miss running me down

and ya steve ill send a couier down for the F3 , stick some new ring in it Wink

Gutted for you mate, that bike was pristine. But at least you have not suffered to badly, bikes are easier to mend than bones!

Not so sure about that, less painful but I have always found my bones mend theirselves Smile

I am sure both of you will be good as new in a couple of months though.

So sorry... I read the title and just guessed the worst. Get well and in a couple of weeks all you'll have is... more experience.

I also scratched the right side of mine, luckily I was only doing 10 kph. And do look at your dressings. Mine got me an infection on the leg and was only detected once my body temperature began rising!

The good thing is that you were enjoying when it happened. Rolling Eyes

Mine don't I've had to have a couple mended by surgeons, I would swap that for a big old repair bill any day of the week.
