I won, not 1 but 3 races on the MC16 at Anglesey with the W100! Laughing

What a giggle of a weekend, learnt so much! There's life in the old dog yet!

Knew I'd get a win sometime but never expected it at Anglesey.. Happy days! Cool

Yeah, he's built a cracking little motor there. It sounded very crisp at Donington.

Paul, the both of us, although the NSR is some 8 years my junior so guess I'm the real old dog!

Nice to fit some more stuff in the trophy cabinet at last, got a taste for it now again.. Smile

Not bad!

1.22's is cracking on a bit. We're not going there this year but I may do the Grand as MJ reckons he's doing it. You got a time for me to aim for on the International circuit Wink

You ought to come out with us (DP) sometime, not as cheap as Wirral but better value, 4 x 8 lap races for £195 (£6.10 a lap) vs 5 x 10 lap races for £250 (£5 a lap) last time we were there.

Then again the only class for your bike with us is F250 (F400), so you're playing with fast men at the front, our F400 lap record at Anglesey Coastal is an outrageous 1.13.76! (Paul Ellerker - ZXR400), F250 is 1.15.05 (Iain McDonald - RGV250 vj23).

Cheers John,

I've take 2 seconds off my laptime from the previous time I raced there in 2010, but think there is more to come, infact I know there is more to come.

Not making excuses, but I didn't get a clear lap in any of the dry races as I was with the mid-pack Pi 600's all the time, although ahead of my FE friends but unable to move away from the Pi lot. Hoping to work on that next time, I did in the last race have the chance of a clear track but decided to play it safe and battle with a steelie for about 5 laps. Wanted that trophy, and the points Laughing and a quick look over the shoulder showed a good lead from the next FE bike (Caron on the TZ250), so did the sensible thing. Especially with the knackered rear tyre, which was still working well but giving lots of little twitches to let me know not to push my luck!

I'd love to do the DP at Anglesey if they do it next year, would be ace to be out with some proddy bikes and will hopefully pull me along some more.

Got a load of winter work planned for the bike, so should be a bit quicker next season. May start entering the F400 races too, mix it up with the fast boys. Maybe!

Gearbox is next, was it only the F3 bikes with a close ratio jobbie?

Paul

Nope, the NH3 bits to fit the NF5 (RS) gears to the NSR cases are in the normal SS/SP mc21 HRC manual.

I could tell you where the PDF of it is but then I'd have to kill you.

TBF it's also in the members section here, page 22 and 23.

And as this is skirting on the edge of what should be discussed in the open Forum I'd ask to to take further discussion inside Wink
