Just looked at the pics on the facebook page and the rather interesting comments by Matt about his wheelie exploits.
Of course what he and Shane didn't mention was the wheelie action on every lap coming out of the Melbourne loop as well when they were riding.
Its a fact. I was there!!!!
Of course following on from that thread it could arguably be that Matt had problems with the front wheel because he weighs no more than a wet whippet. On the other hand what is "Chunky Monkey" Stratton's excuse.? Don't say saving tyre wear as thats an old one !!!
You'd be surprised what Shane doesn't weigh! He's a big bloke (it was his profession, after all!), but he's lean. _________________ Andy.

Pete, I just weighed a wet whippet and yep you're right, I weighed no more than that sodden hound.
Stratton's a fat git. Ignore what Andy says
But it's true, the NSR500V does like to save front tyre wear and unfortunately there's little the passenger can do about it, other than close the throttle, park it and go and hide.
Rumour has it that the 500 has sneaked over 140hp. I know it was less than that just before we rode it, but we did have a bit of a brass shuffling session at the track, and Stephen's had a fiddle with it since then.
That puts it somewhere between 1350-1400BHP/ton.
So if your tuned to the knackers 2012 CBR1000 makes 200hp and weights in at a paltry 165kgs then it's still only 1250BHP/ton.
Not sure how much work I want to do on the engines but the ease with which they make power without any real set up I'm ultimately looking to try and get between 145-150hp. _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
