Good day, can anyone know the knowledge regarding the CDI unit. Seem that the meter never stated any error code sign but the bike could not start. When swapping to stock CDI, bike easily can be started. Currently my CDI is P30. Could it burn out and can it be repair? Anyone have encounter before.
Yup i was running wire splice on the p030 and it is was running fine..after servicing and put all the pieces back..the would not start and the valve is not moving..the valve is not moving and there no indicate any error on the meter. I swop it into original CDI ( Luckly bought a new CDI for spare) and it work fibe and the bike can start. Thinking is it the CDI been toast?
If the bike is running fine with a different PGM IV/Key card (stock) fine and the PGM IV/HRC 030 card (that are matched) isn't, then yes, I would think the PGM IV with the HRC card is bad.
When you put the card in, does the display show anything? or does it stay blank? Does the steering head lock, unlock?
There are a number of trouble shooting processes for checking/trouble shooting the PGM Unit, but hard to tell where to start without more details.

Display as normal p030... i saw joeking previous post had the same problem as me.
I have pm Moriwaki Man do no news yet.
.
I virtually back to backed a PGM-IV with an HRC card and a PGM-II with a stripped down mc18 loom. As a bike to ride (on the track) you wouldn't know the difference.
The stator plug is different as is the carb solenoid plug. The wiring colours makes it clear what should go where.
PGM-II on an mc28 (note the smoke, just got it running)
You'll also need a set of clocks, a clock mount and somewhere to put the PGM-II.
As well as sorting out the ignition switch wiring/mech on a roadbike. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
