Is this OK to use as gearbox oil?

I have a MC28 w/ a dry clutch. I checked my gearbox oil today and it's a bit low. My local shop recommend Motul 300V, is that OK to use on my bike?

What ever you put in DONT just top it up, drain it and fill back to the correct level

If you search the forum there are many posts regarding different oils for the gearbox

I would recommend a gear oil rather then an engine oil meant for a 4-stroke (which also lubricates the gearbox).

Motul makes a decent gear oil (Gear Competition 75W/140 or Gearbox 80W90). I have also used Rock Oil Lite Gear Oil and Redline shockproof lightweight gear oil with good results.
