mc 18 r2j rc valve wiring

mc 18 r2j rc valve wiring

Hello!! I got a 88' nsr r2j and the rc valve not works normally, y tryed with a mc16 servo motor and works, but when the motor is up 7000 rpm the valve is turn to close slowly. Why this happen?
I see some diferences between the order of wires and both got the same colors but diferent orders, how can i fix it, anyone can help me? please scuse my inglish im from chile Rolling Eyes

Hello "hazekwest", and welcome to NSR-WORLD.

If I remember correctly, the MC16 servo operates in the opposite direction to the later models. Most likely, but you will need to experiment, you should be able to swap the signal wires from the controller.

The best answer however, would be to source a working 1988 servo motor, as it sounds like the rest of the system is functioning normally. When you start mixing parts from other models, troubleshooting can become an issue later on.
