Hi to anyone reading, I have recently bought 2 1988 nsr 250s, one starts and runs, but one has no neutral light and no spark, we have swapped the 3 main electronic boxes to no avail, bulb for neutral light is OK as are all fuses. The coils appear to have no power reaching them either, any advice would be most welcome
The most likely cause IMO will be a faulty stator. Swap the one with the working bike and see how you go. If it does turn out to be a faulty stator than you should be able to get it re-wound at a specialist auto elec.
