I'm in the process of giving some loving to my old girl, and decided to replace all the hoses and lines. Most are easy enough but my main concern is the oil feed lines, mine look old and wearing through where the wire connector is at the pump.
Where can I find replacements - as there shaped?
Or can I use standard line, does it have to be a special type? I was thinking of using a clear vacuum line and try and find some fresh connectors?
Anyone replaced these? I assume they are a 4mm vacuum line size same as the rest of the bike?
If you remove those lines, remember to bleed them before you start the bike. Else the bike could seize. I recommend you don't replace them with anything other than the genuine part as it's too important to mess up. Though replace those **** wire spring clips with something substantial.
I would not use clear hose, it looks **** fast as soon as it gets oil, dirt or solvent on it. Two months later they'll be yellow, not clear! _________________ MC21 Honda NSR250. TYGA 300 conversion.
