Yes, speaking to Matsumoto-san a few months back, he said that there's a race harness to suit, and intends to offer a street harness too.
The issue, as Matt@TYGA [who's also working on a PGM replament at the moment too] has found out, is that nowhere can supply the PGM-III style 16P sockets than Shindengen used. We've found the black 16P plugs, but no sockets, so no way to make just a sub-harness.
The T2R ECU is programmable, but they will not supply the software to customers to program it. Not sure if they will make it available to specific dyno operators/tuners eventually though. I think the problem for ROW sales will be that both Ignitech and Zeeltronic allow customers to tinker, so I don't see a sealed unit being popular at the price it will be for export markets, which is unfortunate, as they certainly know their sh*t! _________________ Andy.

Might need a GPS too, depending on where they are taking signals from? A lot cheaper to get a card/PGM-IV programmed, now they've released the price. It might be a lot less hassle though, and obviously reversible. There's also the risk of loss in transit sending the PGM away to be recoded.
To be honest, I'd expect most MC28 owners would prefer to keep the LCD, but may certainly be an idea for track bikes. With the way prices are going though, I expect fewer and fewer are going to see the track, and get returned to stock(ish) street bikes.
I see they're also listing street version/harness already, which is good. But I stand by my previous comment that while it may be popular in Japan (where they could, if they choose, get the bike to T2R and have a custom program), I don't see it being so in the west while it's locked down and the Zeeltronic and Ignitech units are user programmable.
£1000 + shipping + taxes is a lot of money for a replacement [locked] ECU. Maybe, in my personal opinion, they should've made the street version something like £600, and the race version £900 and unlocked it. _________________ Andy.
