Hi, I am trying to seperate my fork slider from the alloy body ,got the spring and all the damper rod out as well as the oil seal clip. now the fun bit is it a case giving giving a good tug on the slider to pop the seal out or do i need to go into the slider and undo the castlated nut(that requires me to make a special tool to undo) i can see on the inside of the slider before it will come apart. this is a bog standard mc21r fork with no rebound or comp damping many thanks hope you can make sense of this post

StephenRC45 is your man for questions about pulling apart front suspension... he loves it! I'm sure he'll be along soon! (Work kicks him out about 5pm on a Saturday!) _________________ Andy.

Simply clamp the forks back in the yokes and use the bottom of the fork as slide hammer. _________________ If you dont like the way that i ride.....Stop trying to keep up!!!!!
