how you all going to finaly fix the nsr to found out that the pgm s@#$ it self thats why it was poping and runing bad now i have a nother dilemma my back brake light stays on so nobody knows when im braking also when i pulled the seat off to get at the pgm i found that somebody had already delimited it but all also found that after they cut the orenge and blue wire the joined the rest of it to the green wire that go's to the lights and to a other green wire does any body know why they did this and whats it do
Just a quicky answer for the brake light - check the front and rear switches aren't jammed on. Disconnect one then the other to narrow the search down.
I'll think about the other bit over lunch... _________________ MC21SP Plaything

If I remember correctly, the green wire is earth (ground). Snipping the orange/blue wire and connecting it to earth is just reproducing what Honda do further down the harness!
The O/Bu wire FROM the PGM should be connected to a switched positive. The Bk/W wire is live only when the kill switch is set to run. Another favourite (M-Max etc.) is to splice into the positive feed to the brakelights. _________________ Andy.

The front one is part of the front brake lever, and you can normally hear it clicking when you pull the brake on. The connections are at the lever.
The rear is down by the pedal, but on the inside of the plate there. The connections are under the right side panel, but you should be able to access them by removing the seat. _________________ MC21SP Plaything

Hey Steve, I had the same issue as you did with the brake switch. Have a read of this thread and it may help you out. _________________ Jerry Lai
