How much and wot gear oil for a 96 RS250? need 2 no ASAP plz

Need 2 no ASAP how much gear oil gose into a 96 rs250 and also wot would people recomend 2 use in it i was thinking silkolene light gear oil???

reason why i ask is i have just drained the stuff out of my bike 2 change and can only get around 290ML which i thought was very low?

91 says 750 cc. Not sure if there is a capacity difference between the years. I do know the 2001 calls for .5 liters. Don't have a manual for the model year your asking about. Sorry.

I have used Redline lightweight Shock Proof gear oil as well as Motul 300 gear oil.

ok thanks for that but i think im gona 2 have 2 wait until someone can confirm the exact amount for the 93-00 model as like i say only 300ml drained out so 300-750 is a big difference so dont want 2 put 750 in and run it and find its only ment 2 be 300 lol

dose anyone no of any links/sites that a manual can be downloaded from or anyone who is selling one?

Have never found a post 1991 manual online yet.

Also, you may want to learn that "2" is a number and not a word. Also, "no" has a much different meaning then "know". Also "dose" doesn't even come close to "does". But I'll give you credit, this post was better then your first Wink

good catch, and that is why I tend to not correct people.

But when it comes to people using "2" and "wot" and crap like that, I tend to feel the need to speak up. I even go off on my mom when she tries to use that crap in IM's she sends to me!
