Love to, but Cadwell is so bleeding far away from me. _________________ MC21SP Plaything

I'm booked into the Novice Group. Good job really as my first ever visit to Cadwell ended after just 2 track sessions after the engine seized! Still need to learn the proper lines! See you there mate! Fontyyy is booked in the fast group, not sure who else is going. _________________ Rich

And I'll also be running-in a new crankshaft _________________ Rich

there's nothing to run in, they're ball bearings _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
I fail to see your point, the reason you run a 4 stroke crank steadily for a long time is the main and bigend bearings are flat pieces of metal held apart by a film of oil. They aren't flat enough or a good enough fit against each other from new.
This is not true of a two stroke, they're all ball bearings.
If the barrels and/or rings are new as well you'll do more damage than good keeping the revs down, especially if you're trying to get up the Mountain or Coppice. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
