California is the leader in clean NSR's!!!!!

The number of Repsols officially produced is 1500. And considering it was the last year SP and they kept selling them after '96 who knows how many they actually sold.

Not exactly hard to keep an unused NSR with zero miles clean, is it?!

RobH's MC18 is clean... and it's used! RichG's MC21 is clean... and it's used... PaulG's MC21 is (was) clean, till he crashed it using it on a track day. Wink

Nice to have a new one though, but I can't see why on Earth they never sold them with orange wheels. Always looks like a half-arsed attempt to me I'm afraid, and I loved my MC21 in Repsol colours so it's not like I am anti-Repsol.

Well I'd say it's hard to keep any vintage vehicle clean. Yup easier if you don't use it much but then the hard part is not riding it. I wouldn't slam anyone for having a mint condition motorcycle with zero miles or not, but that's just me.

As far as the orange wheels I can't stand them. I marked a bike down at a show for having orange wheels. Yea the reason was it's not original but I hate them just the same. My bike had orange wheels when I got it and it looked like ass.

So yea we have some low use NSR's like looking4nsr and nsr250repsol but we also have some canyon killers like this one. Ported, matched, flowed, high compression, HRC carded, etc. etc., liter killing mutha. About 2,500 canyon miles a year.

The Repsol isn't a true replica without orange wheels, regardless of whether Honda sold it like that or not.

Black wheels look crap! Each to their own though! Smile
