I have a MC-21 SE/SP (was SP before Magteks were sold) and I am in the process of putting it back together after importing it from overseas.
I have four questions:
1 - How many spacers are in the front wheel? Right now I have two spacers in place and there is too much play on the axel. I have a third piece in my parts box that looks like a spacer, but not sure which side to put it on.
2 - What are these green and yellow wires with the open connection supposed to connect to?
3 - What does this green connector above the fuel hose do and where does it go? I can't find where to plug it in anywhere.
4 - On the front side of the battery box there appears to by a regulator/rectifier unit with a plug-in on the bottom. I can't find anything to plug in there. What am I missing?

I have two spacers on my NSR, a short one, and a larger one. The axle also acts as a spacer, and pulls everything together nice and tight when you torque it all down.

First thing first. That bracket that is attached to the frame is backwards. The solinoid, and the resistor should be on the front of the spar. There are some parts missing that attach to the other portion of that bracket. That wire connects to the missing air solinoids.

You should have a large white plug that will plug into that. If it's missing, well then I would say that your bike is in a sad state. From looking at the pics, you have a hell of a job ahead of you, but a job that can be completed with time, and money

Ok, I know this bike was jetted to run at the track with no airbox. Could that be a reasonable explanation for the missing air solenoid?
The cut wire are for the reg/rec, 3 yellow 1 green 1 red, if you have a salvage yard you can cut a plug from a CBRF3 600 or early 900RR they're same. The green plug must be for the air solinoids, what color are the wires ? _________________
Yes I am pretty sure that the green connector goes to the air solinoid, if its supposed to by housed in the bracket. I actually have another MC 21 motor and it has the solinoid housed properly. This NSR appears to have been run in its previous life without the wire to the air solinoid hooked up.
I guess my question now is if the bike is run without the airbox, is this wire necessary to hook up?

I actually have another MC 21 motor and it has the solinoid housed properly. This NSR appears to have been run in its previous life without the wire to the air solinoid hooked up (and without the solinoid for that matter) - or that piece was lost in transit.

PS - Everything else is wired up except for the tail lights and signals.
I have never seen the air solinoid removed on any bike. This doesn't mean it can't be done, just that I have never seen it.
I have had bikes from stock street (with everything in place) to race prepped bikes (not prepped by me). All my bikes have had that part there, and plugged in.
Maybe someone else can answer what this does, and what will happen if the part isn't there.
If the solenoid is removed then jetting the bike for low down power becomes a little more critical, although it can be done.
The hoses that originally came from the solenoid to the carbs will have to be 'jetted' to regulate the air supplied to the emulsion tubes, or you'll suffer real lean conditions.
One of our bikes is running sans solenoid and I've stuffed a couple of #170 main jets into the hoses with #185 mains, stock 21 needles and #40 pilots. Runs a little rich at the top (#180's would probably be better) and can load up in traffic, but when the thing's on the open road it flies and is as smooth as ya like.
On an MC18 300 I built we tried for a laugh a similar set up. It worked fine, but this time with #142's stuffed in the hoses. I was trying to get rid of a dead spot down real low (1,500~2,000 rpm). It didn't work, but it didn't have any adverse effects on the top end rush.
