I can't believe it's actually a KV3 part. That implies it's an NSR only (or NSR originally) part.
I've been to the local breakers and asked for "a 1990's Honda front brake switch" and what they gave me (for £2) fitted, it's highly unlikely they broke an NSR.

Cheers mate. It 'looks' like a common thing. I might try your trick and take it down the wreckers and ask the same question. Smile

Last time i went there, i scored a brand new L/H switch block, that hadn't been modified to keep the lights on. I turn them completely off during the day.
I relish the extra 0.5hp gained from less ignition drag from driving the 2 x 30watt tyga headlight bulbs !!

I just replaced mine this weekend, the part number is 35340-MM5-600 and the switch is identical. Hope this helps.

My best guess is yes.. However is the CBR250 brake/clutch lever identical to the NSR250 ones??

RZRob1, do you know what model that part number was for? It would be good to know if it was from a model that was an "official" import.

I looked extensively on Google for the correct part, searched 35340-KV3-700 part number and the local dealers that resulted in the Google search cross referenced this part number to the one I previously noted above. There were three that came up: 35340-ML4-005, 35340-MM5-600, and 35340-MA5-671. The local Honda dealer said the second part number superceded the first and the photos looked correct and it is. Its an OEM part from Honda and I think Honda uses it on many bikes the results showed VTX1300C, CB400F, and 929RR. Do a Google search, second page lists them all.
